  Dear Parents and Carers,

  Thursday 5^th October is SPACE DAY!

  Space Day is also School Census Day, with a lot of the school’s funding based on how many children eat school dinner. Please ensure your child attends school and eats a school dinner, to help us provide the best resources for all our children over the next year.

  Wear anything space themed and the best outfit in each year group will receive 20 Rose Lane Bucks. Every child who has school dinner that day will receive a 5-buck bonus!

  

• Harvest

  Dear Parents and Carers   As part of our assembly programme, the pupils will be acknowledging the celebration of Harvest on 27th September. The cost of living crisis has had a real impact on many people within our school community and the local foodbank has been a great support to our families offering a lifeline in these stressful times. As a community, what better way to acknowledge the wonderful work of the food bank and, to offer our gratitude for the support given, than to rally round to donate food to stock their shelves? We are asking all members of school community both families and staff to bring a small food item to school in the lead up to 27th September.

  The demands on the food bank are as strong as ever and this is where we can help. Please join us by giving food so that local people in crisis don’t go hungry. Thank you.
