The Meadow

Welcome to ‘The Meadow’ at Rose Lane Primary! We are a brand-new alternative resource provision here at Rose Lane for children with a diagnosis of autism. We currently have 9 children ranging in age from 4-11 and 4 staff working within The Meadow on a very individualised curriculum. We have some wonderful spaces to work in such as a play space, sensory room and an outdoor garden. 

The Meadow is located, next to our nursery on the lower site and we are very much a part of the main school at Rose Lane and integrate the children alongside their peers regularly. Our aim is for the children to gain as much independence as possible and to add structure and routine to the school day. We do this through a range of interventions, speech and language work, workstations and communication time. Our learning and curriculum are individualised to each child so that we can equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to achieve to their highest potential.
