Vacancy for ARP TEACHER MANAGER

Salary: MPS/UPS (inner London allowance) + SEN Allowance

Are you looking for a new challenge?  We are seeking to appoint a lead teacher for our Additional Resource Provision (ARP) for pupils with autism. We are looking to appoint a teacher who is enthusiastic, motivated and determined to make a difference to our children’s lives and is able to lead on the development of the ARP which is due to open in September 2021.  We are a fully inclusive school, highly regarded for our work with SEND children.  Our ARP opens in September 2021 initially with 6 children growing to 12 children at Easter 2022 with integration into the mainstream school as appropriate.

 

Candidates who apply will have an interest in Special Educational Needs.

 

We are looking for a teacher:

  • with experience of working with children with SEND
  • who works well in an established and committed team
  • who is dedicated to the development of children with special needs
  • who has good interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop positive and supportive professional relationships with staff, parents, carers, the wider community and other professionals
  • who works with a genuine child-centred approach
  • who is enthusiastic and dynamic with a secure understanding of effective teaching, learning and assessment.
  • who has excellent management, organisational and leadership skills
