• Kings Coronation Celebration Day - Friday 5th May

  Dear Parents,

  On Friday 5^th May we will be celebrating the momentous occasion of the coronation of King Charles III.

  This will be a whole day event in which the pupils will take part in a range of activities and events including:

  • A lesson about the coronation and the history of previous coronations.
  • A lesson based on a new story written for the coronation called ‘The King’s Pants.’
  • Designing and making crowns, flags, bunting, new stamps and coins.
  • A lunchtime ‘street party’ in the playground.
  • A coronation concert.

  We hope that this will be a really enjoyable day for the children that will stay in their memories for a long time, something for them to tell their grandchildren about!

  To help with the celebratory mood, we would like children to wear red, white and blue on that day.
