Uniform Information

School Uniform

There is a school uniform which all children are expected to wear.

White blouse, shirt or polo shirt (short or long sleeved – shoulders should be covered)

Red jumper or cardigan
Black skirt, trousers or shorts (no cycling shorts)

Red and white chequered/gingham school dress

Red sweatshirts, fleeces, white polos with logo, book bags, PE bags and backpacks with the Rose Lane Primary School logo can also be purchased through ParentPay.

School Shoes

Flat black school shoes (not flip flops, open sandals or 'crocs' please).

Please ensure that shoes fit properly and have adequate grip sole to prevent falls on the playground surface.

PE Clothing

Please supply your child with:
Black shorts
White t-shirt
Black plimsolls
Black jogging bottoms and black sweatshirt for outdoor PE in cool weather

PE kit may be worn to school on PE days.

Please remember to label all your children's clothing with their name and class.

No Jewellery 

To ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils:

• Only small, plain stud earrings may be worn.

• No other jewellery is permitted. This includes:

  • Hooped or dangly earrings

  • Necklaces, bracelets, and rings

  • Smart watches and fitness trackers

For PE and other physical activities, stud earrings must be removed by the child or covered with tape.

Any other jewellery worn to school will be removed and kept safely until the end of the day.
