Temporary Change to Key Stage 2 Dinner Menu from Monday 23 January

 

Due to circumstances beyond our control, urgent renovation works within the Flourish Building mean we will be unable to prepare the usual range of school dinner options, starting from Monday 23 January. We anticipate this lasting for up to two weeks.

 

At Rose Lane Primary we understand the importance of providing our children with a nutritious and filling meal every day. Whilst we won’t be able to offer the full menu, we have worked closely with our caterers to ensure we continue to achieve this until the works are completed.

 

During this time, the school dinner options available to children in Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 will be:

 

Jacket Potato with Tuna, Cheese or Beans, served with side salad; or

Filled Bread Roll with Tuna, Chicken, Ham or Cheese, served with side salad; and

A selection of Fresh Fruit, Yoghurts and Jelly.

 

We understand that some children may miss having their usual favourites, for which we can only apologise, but you are of course welcome to provide your child with a healthy packed lunch. If you choose to do so, we politely ask you to avoid fizzy drinks, sweets and chocolate bars, and be aware of pupils who may be allergic to nuts when selecting items (Rose Lane Primary is a nut-free school).
