Marks Gate Art

Dear Parents,

I am very excited to tell you that we are running a 'Your Marks Gate' art competition in conjunction with Studio3Arts and BeFirst. We launched the competition in school on Tuesday 30th March and the children spent the day learning about the history of Marks Gate and trying out art skills and techniques.  The children have the 2 weeks of the Easter holidays and a further week to complete their artwork, photograph it and email to  communities@befirst.london with the heading Your Marks Gate competition in the subject line. Attached to this email is all of the information that you need about the competition and also some hints and suggestions about what the artwork could consist of. It is also on our school website.

 

The competition is only open to pupils of Rose Lane Primary School. The closing date for the competition is 9am on Monday 26th April and there will be 3 first bikes of a brand-new bike. There will also be runners up prizes of vouchers for art materials. We CANNOT receive any competition entries in school. Please DO NOT send artwork to your child's teacher or the office or it will not be entered into the competition.

 

Some of the entries will be printed onto the site hoardings around the new Padnall Views development.
